/** If this bool is set then penalty rules do not apply to this user */ bool ExemptFromPenalty; git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@8247 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-10-21Penalty should be 'const int'. Note, you can set a const in the constructors ↵brain
init-list, see line 109 git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@8246 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-10-21Add int Penalty to Command. At the moment, nothing uses this, and ↵w00t
constructor doesn't set it - I'll fix that up shortly. This is so Brain can use it in his gubbins without the source tree being broken. :p git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@8245 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-10-21Add User::UnderPenaltybrain
/** If this bool is set for a user, then the user is under penalty, in short they * are waiting for some held commands to be executed. If this is the case, then * any commands they have in their sendq are executed on a timer tick rather than in * their event handler. */ git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@8244 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-10-21Remove next_call garbage.. It didn't really do much more than obfuscate ↵w00t
things. InspIRCd::DoBackgroundUserStuff() is now called once per second, roughly. This will (of course) not be going into 1.1.x git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@8241 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-10-16Remove second overridden (fully duplicated :/) copy of GetIPString which ↵w00t
copies into a user specified buffer. It's not used anywhere, and is duplication ;( git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@8218 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-10-15InspSocket -> BufferedSocket. Paves the way for a SimpleSocket class which ↵w00t
ident etc will use. git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@8206 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-10-15InspTimer -> Timerw00t

2007-10-15In the grand tradition of huge fucking commits:w00t

2007-09-27Remove /summon and /users (I think 15+ years of being marked deprecated is ↵w00t
enough, really) git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@8088 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-09-26Fixed bug #404; this was caused by recieving multiple OPERTYPEs from a ↵special
remote server, which eventually resulted in bad pointers inside the all_opers list git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@8084 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-09-25Fix for bug #415, affects only trunk (wish i'd known this before i started!)brain

2007-09-23Remove InspIRCd::DoOneIteration, throwback to software threading (lulz)brain
git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@8065 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-09-12Renamed the needs_unsigned parameter of ConfigReader::ReadInteger to ↵special
need_positive to better reflect what it does git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@8025 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-09-04* Fixed some incorrect declarations in IOCPEngineburlex
* Fixed the virtual socket wrapper functions in IOCPEngine {these should really be inlined on unix} * Fixed several compilation issues under Win32 * Fixed calls to close() which should've been changed to SE->Close() + Added a crashdump saving system to Win32 builds. Dumps are saved in the format of dump-<exename>-<year>-<month>-<day>-<hour>-<minute>-<second>.dmp in the working directory. Enabled by default, undefine ENABLE_CRASHDUMPS to disable. + Added m_operflood, this is a module I've had lying around for some time but some users may like it as it allows unreal-like behaviour without increasing flood limits for non-opers. git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@8015 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-08-31This may not compile, I'll test it on my desktop. Waiting 20 minutes for a ↵w00t
build is unacceptable. - Move UUID initialisation to InspIRCd::InitialiseUID() - Call it if we run out of existing UUIDs - Call it on startup Just a small cleanup. git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@8007 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-08-29A few more minor cleanupsom
git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@7986 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-08-28Move everything module-related out of InspIRCd and into ModuleManager, there ↵om
is a ModuleManager instantiated as InspIRCd::Modules. Several of the function names have changed slightly as well. e.g. Instance->FindModule(m_foobar.so); is now Instance->Modules->Find(m_foobar.so); All modules in the core distribution should also be updated in line with these changes. git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@7985 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-08-28First step on the road of module loader rewriting. So far this only really ↵om
removes module factories. Any modules not updated to use MODULE_INIT() yet will now fail to compile \o/ git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@7971 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-08-28Tidy up duplicate code, provide GetSID() method on ServerConfig which ↵brain
returns the SID always 3 digits long git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@7959 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-08-28Document the need for the fake clientw00t
git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@7944 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-08-28Remove the last uses of localised fake clients. This removes a lot of ↵w00t
allocations (and uses of UIDs), and cleans things up a bit git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@7943 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-08-28Remove an utterly insane comment .. based on changed by based on originally ↵w00t
by changed on the based of .. wtf git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@7942 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-08-28Oops. This is supposed to be a public memberw00t
git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@7939 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-08-28Add a global fake client to class InspIRCd used instead of instantiating a ↵w00t
fake client every time a mode needs to be forced through, etc git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@7938 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-08-27Add <server:id> - this is optional, as stated in the example conf,brain
and should only be set if you are getting collisions. The comment also points out that ids where either of the last two letters are numeric are reserved for services use (e.g. 0ZZ or 5CQ) git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@7917 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-08-27Update documentation to indicate that userrec::userrec() may throw on ↵brain

2007-08-27Some useful defines for tidy definition of translation lists. See ↵brain
constructor of cmd_cban in m_cban.cpp git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@7890 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-08-27More translation stuffbrain
git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@7888 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-08-27Add vector<TranslationType> to commands, used to map fields to uid translationsbrain
git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@7886 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-08-27Add FindNickOnly, that wont fall through to uid checks if isdigit(*first). ↵brain
We may need this. (i thought we did for this fix, we dont) Fix cmd_nick to not treat all nicks as invalid and make the client give up. git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@7883 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-08-27Allocate uid in userrec constructor. Optional param added, if its empty, the ↵brain
server allocates one, if its not empty the user gets the one given (this is used for remote users) git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@7873 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-08-27Initialise cmd_nick::allowinvalid in constructor init-list, and document ↵brain
HandleInternal (now two commands that use this, cmd_whowas and this one) git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@7871 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-08-27Add a call to the NICK handler that allows toggling of allowing invalid ↵brain
nicks to on or off. Use it in ForceNickChange to allow forced nickchange of a nick to a uid. git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@7869 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-08-27Add InspIRCd::FindUUID() methods. Currently, these work off an iteration ↵w00t
around the whole client list. This sucks, and will be changed to a map the same as FindNick(). Also update FindNick's docs a little out of anal habit: it returns a user, not a nick. :) git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@7855 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-08-26Add skeleton functions for UID stuff.w00t
git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@7845 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-08-26Bump ABI version and protocol version. Note that this really means 1.1 and ↵w00t
1.2 are diverged now, and won't link/load modules of each other. This is in preperation for me (possibly) messing with UID in trunk. git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@7844 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-08-26Added new announceinvite setting i discussed briefly with w00t and i like ↵brain
myself: # The value 'dynamic' varies between 'ops' and 'all' # # settings depending on if the channel is +i or not. # # When the channel is +i, messages go only to ops, # # and when the channel is not +i, messages go to # # everyone. In short, the messages will go to every # # user who has power of INVITE on the channel. This # # is the recommended setting. # git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@7841 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-08-26Proper fix for end-of-list numerics on restricted lists in bug #386, rather ↵brain
than a hackish nonmodular one. git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@7838 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-08-26Add option to set invite announcements to nobody, ops only, or all users, ↵brain
based on options:announceinvites. Part of bug #386, should not be backported. git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@7837 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-08-23Move the close() wrapper out of the win32wrapper.h, and into its new proper ↵brain
place at SocketEngine::Close() git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@7812 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-08-23Document all this shit!brain
git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@7811 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-08-23Craquity craq De-craq!brain
This is probably broken on windows, do not attempt to use there yet unless you like broken stuff. Cant say for sure as i havent even tried to build yet and most likely wont tonight. --- Abstract most of the berkely socket API out into SocketEngine derived classes. SocketEngine base class implements standard berkely sockets that 'real mens systems' like linux and freebsd have. For socketengine_iocp we implement the windows specific nonesense like the special things needed for udp and accept (ick). All this to eliminate a bunch of ifdefs. git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@7810 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-08-23Raft of fixes so that inspircd can call Cleanup() and Exit() in less ↵brain
'stable' circumstances, e.g. when half initialized, and it wont segfault. Also fix OpenLog to not always exit on error, but to return a bool instead, which is much more friendly on rehash (you don't want /REHASH dieing your server if you cant write the log!) git-svn-id: http://svn.inspircd.org/repository/trunk/inspircd@7804 e03df62e-2008-0410-955e-edbf42e46eb7
2007-08-23Add some stuff to change how we process a token sepeperated streambrain
